The straight design provides a clean, direct connection with minimal flow restriction. Some inline filters have a 3/8″ threaded port. This fitting allows them to be used with standard 1/4″ OD RO tubing. Wrap plumbing tape clockwise around the male threads before installation. Hand-tighten first, then tighten slightly if needed. Do not overtighten. Push 1/4″ OD tubing fully into the quick-connect port until it seats completely.
